Following the lead of Soul Asylum, Minnesota-based band Midnight Tea toured and toiled for over five years, yet major success had eluded them.
Until now.
With their new album "Time" hitting stores soon and major distribution through OarFin Records, Midnight Tea's time has come. No pun intended.
Hailing from White Bear Lake, Minnesota, Midnight Tea has one of the most unique sounds to ever come from the land of 10,000 lakes, blending several genres of modern music. The fact that the band grew up on the same street is evident in their tight-knit sound and awesome harmonies.
With their two guitarists trading licks over the rock-steady rhythm section and a subtle hint of a jazzy sax, the sound of Midnight Tea is something to behold and not to be taken lightly. As soon as you let yourself drift away in bliss on the ballad "Don't Run Away", you'll be rocked by the hard sound of "Hold On". The years have apparently taught Midnight Tea to always have a trick up their sleeve. But this latest album is one trick you'll love.
